Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Strive4Purpose is committed to making strive4purpose.org usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which is also the technical standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the EU's Web Accessibility Directive / European Accessibility Act.
Measures we've taken
- Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a "skip to content" link for keyboard users
- Visible keyboard focus indicators throughout the site
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology
- Descriptive labels on icon-only buttons and links (e.g. menu, social icons)
- A pause-friendly testimonial carousel that respects your device's reduced-motion setting
- Sufficient color contrast for text against its background
- Forms with associated, programmatically-linked labels
Known limitations
Some content is embedded from third-party providers (our Cal.com booking calendar and PayPal/Venmo donation widget), and we don't control their internal accessibility. If you hit a barrier in one of those widgets, you can complete the same task directly on the provider's site — before a widget loads, an alternative link is shown next to it for exactly that purpose.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this Site, please let us know so we can fix it:
- Email: info@strive4purpose.org
- We aim to respond within 5 business days.
